The questions we get asked most, answered straight.
Yes. Washr is fully mobile. We arrive at your home or your office with all the products and gear, work in your driveway or parking bay, and leave with everything we brought. You do not move the car.
Yes. We connect to an outside tap and a plug point, and we use a fraction of the water a drive-through wash puts through your car. If your tap or your plug is awkward to get to, tell us when you book and we will sort it out beforehand rather than on your driveway.
We are based in Pietermaritzburg and cover Hilton, Howick and the Midlands, then down the corridor through Hillcrest, Kloof and Westville into Durban, Umhlanga, La Lucia and up to Ballito and the North Coast. Travel is free within 5km of our PMB base. Past that a set travel fee applies by area, shown to you before you confirm, never added afterwards.
Up to 90 minutes a car, plus setting up and packing down. When you pick a time on the booking page it already accounts for how many cars you have added, so the slot you see is a slot we can actually finish. Book at 10 and we are there at 10.
Exterior from R250 is outside only: snow foam pre-wash, two-bucket hand wash, wheels and tyres, streak-free dry. Full House from R350 adds the inside, so vacuum, dash, doors, console and windows, and it is what most of our regulars book. Deep Clean from R650 is for a car that needs more than a wash, with interior shampoo, leather conditioning and engine bay, priced on inspection.
Regularly. Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners in KZN book us. The Luxury and Exotic package is pH-neutral and paint-safe, microfibre touch only, soft-bristle wheel detail, and the car is photographed for records before and after. By appointment.
In and around Pietermaritzburg, Hilton and Howick, one car is fine. For Hillcrest, Kloof and Westville we need two cars on the visit, and for Durban, Umhlanga and Ballito we need three. It is a long drive for one wash, and grouping cars is what keeps the travel fee small instead of covering the trip. Neighbours and family cars count.
We move you, and you go to the front of the queue for the next slot. No charge for the change and no argument about it. The one exception is a properly sheltered spot, so a covered carport or a garage, where we can work straight through the weather. If you have one, mention it when you book and we will keep your time.
Yes. On the booking page you can ask for a quote instead of a booking. You get the full price in writing by email, no time is held and nothing is owed. The quote stands for 30 days if you want to think about it.
Cash or EFT once the work is done, not before. Choose an invoice when you book and the banking details and reference are on it. Monthly plan clients are billed at the start of the cycle.
Book a single wash, or tailor a monthly plan. Both price themselves as you go.
Booking and plan pricing are both self-serve, so you never have to wait on a reply. For anything else, WhatsApp is fastest.
Both take about a minute. Neither needs a deposit, and nothing is booked until you confirm.
